Quality Exteriors is pleased to announce that it has recently been recognized as a 2022 GAF Master Elite President’s Club member. The largest shingle manufacturer in North America, GAF has stringent standards for contractor certifications and offers three levels of certification for roofing companies: Authorized Contractor, Certified Contractor, and Master Elite Contractor. Having previously achieved Master Elite Contractor status with GAF – as well as being named a GAF Triple Excellence Award recipient – Quality Exteriors set its sights on earning the exclusive GAF President’s Club Badge.
What is the GAF Master Elite President’s Club?
The GAF President’s Club distinction can only be earned by GAF Master Elite contractors. GAF Master Elite contractors are recognized as the best roofing contractors in the country. The requirements for earning this Master Elite certification are stringent and only 2% of all roofing contractors in the US will qualify. The President’s Club is the highest-level award that a GAF Master Elite contractor can earn. To put it simply, this means that roofers who belong to the GAF President’s Club are the best of the best.
President’s Club Requirements
A GAF Master Elite contractor must be in good standing with GAF to be considered for the President’s Club award. Qualified roofing contractors must meet all the industry-specific requirements outlined in their GAF Master Elite Program Agreement. This includes completing many qualifying milestones each calendar year in the areas of performance, service, and reliability.

Here are three things GAF reminds you to look for when choosing a roofing contractor:
Reviews – Always check consumer reviews. This will give you first-hand insights into how easy it was to work with contractor, how well the crew cleaned up, and what was the overall perceived value of the project.
Certifications – To qualify for certification, a roofer needs to be in business a minimum number of years, be properly insured and licensed, and maintain good standing with the Better Business Bureau. These certified contractors can usually offer you enhanced warranties that are backed by the manufacturer. For example, the GAF Master Elite Contractor designation makes up less than 2% of all roofing contractors, and ONLY GAF Master Elite Contractors can offer the GAF Golden Pledge Limited Warranty – which provides up to 30 years of Workmanship coverage.
The Best of The Best – If the GAF Master Elite Badge identifies a rare breed in roofing contractors, the GAF Master Elite President’s Club Award Winner Badge takes it one step further. Less than half of the Master Elite contractors will quality for President’s Club status, and they do so by demonstrating excellence in three key areas (as outlined above) – Performance, Reliability, and Service.
In Summary – a GAF President’s Club badge says that over the course of the prior year, the company installed a minimum number of complete GAF roofing systems that qualified for GAF’s highest warranties, while maintaining consistently excellent customer reviews.
