Quality Exteriors has just been named the 2020 recipient of the GAF Triple Excellence Award for Middle Tennessee. GAF is the leading roofing manufacturer in North America, protecting the roofs of homes and businesses more often than any other roofing product in the U.S. Each year, GAF presents this most coveted annual award to the one roofing contractor they deem most deserving of this prestigious accolade.
Three performance areas measured
To be considered for the GAF Triple Excellence Award, a roofing contractor must first be a GAF Master Elite Certified Contractor. Only 2% of all roofing contractors in the U.S. are invited to become Master Elite Certified contractors, and this distinction cannot be bought, it must be earned. Quality Exteriors has held this distinction since 2009.
The GAF Triple Excellence Award is a stringent award that evaluates a roofing contractor’s performance in three main areas:
Installation Excellence – the contractor must consistently install with a high level of quality and provide their customers the highest protection that GAF offers.
- A GAF Master Elite Contractor earns this award when they achieve a minimum of 30 Golden Pledge Ltd Warranty projects in a calendar year and maintains a satisfactory record in relation to installation complaints and follow up on punch list items.
Consumer Protection Excellence – the contractor must best protect their clients with system selling and enhanced warranties.
- A GAF Master Elite Contractor must install and register a minimum of 100 enhanced warranties or a minimum of $10,000 in warranty dollars in a calendar year.
Training Excellence – the contractor must be committed to training and continuous improvement.
- A GAF Master Elite Contractor must have a minimum of 10 employees who must either pass the Pro Field Guide test with a score of 80% or better or attend a GAF CARE training seminar in a calendar year.

The designation of Habitat For Humanity Roofer is only awarded to community contractors who participate in at least one Habitat for Humanity project with GAF in a year, while completing at least 5 projects over a rolling 5-year period. Quality Exteriors has proudly completed over 25 Habitat For Humanity roofing projects in the past 10 years.
